Went and picked up three movies to watch. I love RedBox.
The movies I got are:
We’ll see how well I enjoy them. I’ve heard that Iron Man 2 isn’t a great movie and all of that, but well I wanted to see it anyway.
So yep, we’ll see how it all turns out.
Went and saw The Avengers today. I enjoyed the movie. Haven’t a clue what the characters are all about etc. but hey I enjoyed the movie. Makes me want to go back and check out this that and the other with how all the characters are, came to be etc. So yep, that’s how it all goes.
But yes, I highly enjoyed the movie.
Wow… can’t believe people are all up in arms about this.
So, as we all know, George Lucas made “Special Editions” of the Star Wars movies. Fans of the movies got all upset because he changed things and enhanced the movies from their 1977 looks. They “demand” that he release the original untouched movies in a high def format.
Lucas refuses and tells them to “Grow Up.”
Classic.
My question to all those happy Star Wars fans out there? Why don’t you just watch your VHS copies that we know you have. Don’t say you don’t have the originals…. we know you do have access to said originals. Sure they’re not in DVD format and stuff, but hey you have access to them.
It’s his show. He can do whatever he wants to do with it.

Watching this little gem of a movie today… surround sound of course.
Upon viewing it… the whole idea of having a clone of Picard really is a good idea for a story. Of course I would have loved for them to take it a little differently.
Something along the lines of having the clone be the age of Picard. They could have done some really good stuff there. Half the movie could have been following the clone around the Enterprise etc. and then we find out it’s a clone.
Yep something like that for sure.
But it’s still a great flick. I enjoy it.
Watched Love Actually tonight… it was interesting to say the least. Can’t really think of anything to say aobut it at the moment… just interesting.
Watched Garfield last night… hadn’t seen that movie before… I know I know, I’ve been living under a rock or something.
Friday The Thirteenth
So, they’re making a Friday the 13th remake??? Set to premiere Feburary 13, 2009. (Makes sense that being a Friday itself)…
I’m not sure if I’d enjoy a remake of the film… not sure at all. Don’t get me wrong, LOVED the first however movies there were… loved them to death.
But a remake?!?
Nope, just not sure about that.
I know one thing for sure, I’ll probably be seeing it alone. But that’s all good… hmmm I’ll have to give this one some thought.
Jane and I watched No Reservations tonight… it stars Zeta-Jones and some dude… can’t recall his name. (I swear it was a good movie lol). Simple premise, sister dies… sister take care of sister’s kid… sister is chef at restaurant, who has a lot of passion for her work, and yells at customers when they say it’s not good food. lol
So um… you’re still here… seriously… go out and rent this movie… now… now… now? Now. :-) Yay! Or just watch it on HBO or SHO or whatever channel it happens to be on.
Yeah, we got it from redbox… mmmm love redbox, but that’s another story for another time.
So, I’m watching Shooter. Such a good movie. Loved it in the theater the first time I saw it… and I still love it when it’s sitting on my DVR. HMMM… Of course it would be nice if it were in widescreen… oh well I can deal with it. I’ll probably buy it sooner or later, it’s only a matter of time.
I love the ending, the guy gets his revenge… so good… so very very good.
